What do you think it is boys?? It should be one of two things... F nifa and we are going with a lawsuit no more negotiating with the EVER ... OR..... steps for everyone, unfrozen and that means unfrozen for 2015 also so 2008 guys get their top pay step and don't get screwed by 11 months.... which one is it???

Probably an email telling us they have been meeting with NIFA and are trying to work toward a deal. Stay united and don't believe the rumors.

Why Tuesday ? What's wrong with tomorrow ? If something was done why would they wait ?? Why why why ? Because Deals only come out on Tuesdays...that's common knowledge.

I was told of the meeting yesterday and the meeting today but I still do not have any confidence in the PBA board that they can get something done.

I love watching you guys torture yourselves with rumors. I'm sure the PBA, County and NIFA look at the rumors and chuckle. I heard this and I heard that. LOL

Talks have not been going on for three years either. Ron stack would not meet with us. We were all fools to remotely believe and vote on that last deal. Talks with nifa only began when kaiman took over the position. Something needs to be done soon to repair morale. Most of us are tens if thousands in debt with credit destroyed. The truth is though that despite a three year freeze these negotiations only started recently.

It is the PBA's fault for not attacking Ron Stack and his ties to Lehman Brothers and demanding he be removed along with George Marlin and his ties to the banking industry and The Philadelphia Bank and Trust, a bank started in its own words because regular banks are not good enough for their ultra wealthy clients...they should have been removed for conflict of interest as soon as we were frozen.

I agree. However at the Nifa general meetings they've had, even Geoge Marlin's statements states, Ed Mangano has done absolutely nothing to generate more money into the budget. Mangano fails to make the tough choices and wants NIFA to continue to do his job for him..... Also, Marlin has stated that Ed Mangano's last resort should be to "freeze" the county workers salaries and he should do everything possible not too. ED Mangano is to blame here and instead of getting tough with him we ( pba) has focused "HOPE" in Jon Kaiman and NIFA. Plus to get any deal we'll need to give back yet again!!!!! Theres almost nothing left to give. NIFA will get the savings Ed Mangano needs and cant get on his own. He will do everything possible to keep Nifa here when our contract actually expires. Count on it!!!
