where the county ( nassau)says taxes will be less..Suffolk gets an above tax projection..now who is playing the " I dont have money to pay longevity game".................
Analysts: Suffolk sales taxes will beat projections

Suffolk sales tax revenues will come in $9.6 million higher than projected by County Executive Steve Bellone in his proposed $2.89 billion operating budget for 2015, legislative budget analysts forecast Friday.
The 350-page report on Bellone's spending package found his budget included "reasonable amounts" for most revenues and expenditures.
But the nonpartisan Budget Review office said...

It's not surprising that Suffolk residents are out buying more goods and services as opposed to Nassau residents who are purchasing less because they are busy mailing $80 checks to the county to pay speed camera fines.
