Let's see how long this lasts... What about when you are ado? Can we be held responsible for missing equipment?

You are suppose to check the RMP for proper equipment in the beginning of every tour. So you're responsible each day.

What about when you are ado? Can we be held responsible for missing equipment? Think of it as 209 Lotto, if you're in it (RMP), You win it (209).

Is it true that the Inspections Unit had a hand in that new arrest tracking form? You know, the one that adds at least 30 - 60 minutes to overtime?
I want my 2 days after these simple suggestions on how to decrease arrest overtime:
-- Get rid of RMS - That has single handedly cost the County millions in wasted time. Yet, no one ever made to answer for this total debacle. -- Get rid of ECAB - I was at a meeting years ago when the DA's Office tried to' wooo' us why it was needed. They couldn't cite, after a direct question from one of the PBA BOG's, one case in where there was a successful appeal or dismissal of a charge due to cop/detective deficient paperwork. -- Update our infrastructure - 1) Yes -- Computers from the early 2000's are 10 years outdated. Especially when you have to fix them. You can just buy a brand new one for a fraction of the cost. By the way, RMS has problems running on most of our end-user Departmental computers because it is A MEMORY and PROCESSOR hog. So you need newer hardware to run the software, which is irreparable in my opinion, to work efficiently. 2) Update our newtork -- Dial up modem is not efficient -- 3) Have more functional print machines. You need at least TWO per command. And not those ancient ones that barely work and break down frequently.

Not complaining, just stating what everyone knows already -- all the items you state are cash cows..why would many people keep bringing attention to the next item the county will work on to kill overtime....and yes the county is slowly cutting the items that cause OT..its just a matter of time..everyone said there would be tons of short roll call for years...not..it is still there but not what was thought..just like borrowing 10-68 days to kill holiday OT last year..people wont learn to keep quiet about good for the pocket items..yes they are annoying and stupid..but who benefits? you do..every other Wednesday...
