Are his parents actual Cops or are they Aux, Parking Enforcement or Code Enf. I just can't see any Cops in their right mind that would back their son on this. The parents must be 10-62's Cops or not. Bunch of dumbsky's.

The parents are actually real cops. The commissioner he is running against is a retired Nassau County Cop that bashes the Port Cops pay/benefits. Sound familiar?

After seeing some of the dipshyts the NYPD has had (and still does) as Commissioner, could this kid be any worse?

If the kids parents are really PW cops, he has vested interested to do right by them, thus the other cops.
If not, he won't get his allowance.
In any case, you don't need to be a rocket science to be a PC.

It used to drive me crazy in the academy when she would yell at me for doing some convoluted technique wrong. Knowing that she's spent her entire career in the academy used to piss me off to no end. With my three years in the city I've done more than she's ever done and she's correcting me in cuffing techniques. I used to wonder how many guns/knifes she's actually taken from REAL perps. |

There is a lot of disarray, backstabbing and dirty politics going on in Port right now. It involves a lot of leadership on that once peaceful job. I feel sorry for the cops on that job who just wants to do their job and go home.
