Maybe I am paranoid, ill let you tell me if I am. I ordered a Gardall safe from the safe and vault store last month. Naturally it would have to be shipped via a freight company as it is rather heavy (500 pounds). Now let me tell you how it was shipped. Last month it arrived via a freight company, as the door to the truck opened I saw the box clearly marked Gardall Safe. The driver said ohhh I see your getting a safe, a little weird but ok. After the driver unloaded the safe and put it in my garage I noticed the cardboard box it was in was able to be lifted off the safe revealing the safe, no straps or anything holding it on. Lo and behold after you remove the cardboard box you can see the unsealed Manila envelope that clearly states combination inside. Now maybe its just me, but how the fvck do you ship a safe to a home address and have the combination so readily available to anyone who has contact with the safe after it leaves the store? So after phoning the store I told them the story and they finally got back to me and said in so many words you should have ordered a digital combination lock if you were so concerned with security. With this I told the guy if your store was closer you would have a 500 pound paperweight through your window. Needless to say i had the combo changed, but never would have had to do so if corporate america had half a brain. So buyer beware, gardall ships their safes with the combinations for all to see.

Good lesson, don't accept delivery.
Could make a great mooring. Expensive though.
