Even if we win where are they getting the money from? They just bonded $41 million to pay a portion of the property tax they owe to residents from 2010. If we win, or a deal is struck don't look to get any of your back wages back anytime soon.

And those are only a portion of the tax refunds that are owed. And the county hasn't blinked once at threats of liens on their bank accounts from the tax refund rulings. They've stalled and delayed at every turn. I can't imagine our situation being any different.

Suozzi said a county employee wage freeze, imposed in 2011 by the county's financial control board, will only be lifted if Nassau stabilizes its finances.
This is even scarier. Iam Starting to question who to vote for now or if iam even going to vote at all.
