I live in Smithtown and the Primary is coming up Tuesday. What do your guys think of Creighton, Perrini and Barretto? I know if Vecchio and DeMarco win the Primary, I will be voting for whoever is running against them, regardless of party. The PBA has already sent me a letter recommending Creighton but it was the Nassau PBA, not Suffolk, and I've heard nothing about the other two guys. You don't have to go into detail. Just give me a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Thanks.

Robert Creighton is the former Police Commissioner of the SCPD. He was commissioner in the early 90's and RESIGNED that position rather than screw with the cops, which is exactly what the county executive of that time wanted him to do. That ALONE tells you about the character of this man, not only has our PBA endorsed him but so has our SOA, they describe him as "one of our own". How many current or former PC's would have given up that position in an effort to protect the members. Suffolk PBA & SOA have a long memory and they have wholeheartedly endorsed him for the position of Smithtown Supervisor. I have personally dealt with him and he is a class act, he definitely has my vote, if you can spread the word, it would be much appreciated, thanks. I'm not too familiar with the other guys running but I will be voting for those on the Robert Creighton ticket.

+2 for the right people. (the wife voted too). I could have voted for my son who's in the Air Force in FL but I'm not a Democrat.
