a few said Dale was a good boss in the NYPD, but his jealousy of this department made him a bad fit to be its leader. His disdain was obvious and his treatment of our fellow brothers and sisters was undeserved. May he feel a few years of misery in his new endeavors as he dished out while he was here.

Re: Dale wishes officers were fired... « Reply #16 on Feb 6, 2012,
The way I look at it is - We have 2 years of Dale. We will back any Democrat running against Mangano and hope he/she wins. I believe Dale will be replaced (Hopefully with one of our own). Although, some of these chiefs are no winners but anyone will be better than Dale. We need a quality NCPD guy on top. The problem with this whole scenario is Dale for 2 years and the damage he can do in that time.

I still believe most of the nonsense and dysfunction comes from one of our own Krumpty Dumpty. ABSOLUTELY !!! ...... I don't feel bad for Dale at all - but this incident that got him jammed up was suppose to be politically motivated. One question ................ What about the obvious Politician that this was done for ?

Politi retired as a Lt. from the NYPD. He spent the majority of his career there in ESU.

this incident that got him jammed up was suppose to be politically motivated. One question ................ What about the obvious Politician that this was done for ? I would imagine that inquiring minds would want to know the answer to that question......like the minds of press. This sounds like a Nassau Co Watergate......I can see a high level Nassau Official on TV proclaiming, "I am not a crook".

I got filled in on the details tonight. I am amazed that he is not being charged criminally with official misconduct or witness tampering. I guess for some their are no limits to what they will do to maintain their political alliances.

Jealous of what???... I think you might be mistaken there, I don't see why Dale would have ANY reason to be jealous over ANYTHING with regards to the NCPD.
