Nassau County 2014 Health Benefits Open Enrollment Period is December 6th to December 27, 2013.

If you are receiving this email on behalf of the above referenced Nassau County Health Benefits enrollee, please notify them that open enrollment is now in progress.

If you have Power of Attorney or are authorized to act on behalf of the enrollee, you may perform the attestation for the enrollee. We would encourage you to let the enrollee know prior to performing the attestation or making any changes.
If you are not making any change to your coverage you may proceed directly to the open enrollment site located at www.nassaucountyny.gov/open enrollment.

If you are thinking of making a change to your coverage you should review the information on our website; especially those documents located under the Retiree and All Other Plan Enrollees page. On the website you will find lots of information relating to your health coverage and your responsibilities. For example you are required to notify this office of any change in you marital status, and/or any change in eligibility of your dependents. Also pay special attention to the Notice and Premium Rate Sheet to see if you will have a financial responsibility for the coverage you are choosing. The class code listed above will assist in determining what your payment will be for any coverage chosen. After reviewing the information on the website you are now ready to perform the attestation. See below for online attestation instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE ATTESTATION:
•Log on to www.nassaucountyny.gov/openenrollment
•Click on the “CLICK HERE TO BEGIN” icon
•Enter your ID Number located at the top of this email, next to your name and begins with “9”
•Enter the last four digits of your social security number
•Click on the “CONTINUE” button to proceed.
•Review your current information and follow the onscreen instructions.

I received my enrollment notice, by mail , and signed on, via computer 9/7/13 at 9:20 AM.
I have since received,via computer, a confirmation of this sign on, 12/6/13 at 6.23PM, of which I have made a copy. Suggest anyone doing so, make copys of anything they send you.

Yes, received mine on 12/6/13 and responded online. I did the same last year.

I received the enrollment via email, but I was waiting for the hard copy to arrive but never received it. After reading ncpdretired's and Wiz's post I did mine over the computer...
