Newest details of the deal are that we will all be paying 5% into our healthcare and the contract will be put back into place while we sue for retro. I am guessing I will be ordered on alot more because 20+ guys are going to be running out the door.

No way would that pass. I could see it. Bring possible if full raises and retro with no other give backs. New hires will proberly have to pay into medical.

It was said that most of the deals savings are weighed upon retirements and hiring. The only way to guarantee saving is to change health care contributions across the board while pushing guys with 20+ out the door. I don't see it passing either but I do know there a lot of guys out some really big bucks that would rather pay towards healthcare and receive their raises.

I agree.. No chance of that passing a membership vote. I highly doubt this rumor is accurate.

Yea that sounds like a real good rumor that holds water..... A sunday night at 2200 hrs 2 days before new years!!! Im just real glad that all the leaders involved in this BS "deal" had a great great Christmas. Spared no expense. Makes me happy to know that

So the rumor is basically a new contract Jan. 1st, (give you the contract you have), then have you pay 5% into health as a bonus. Let bygones be bygones. It's New Years. Besides, I'm sure they'll promise not to re-open it again. They're trustworthy, right? I wouldn't rush into that one.  |
