Nassau police and prosecutors announced Monday the arrests 104 suspected johns arrested in Nassau
A Manhasset restaurateur who had been charged with patronizing a prostitute in the "Flush the Johns" sting filed papers last week that he is seeking damages from Nassau County for false arrest, false imprisonment and other wrongs.
Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice consented to the dismissal of the criminal case in December, more than eight months after Louis DiMaria, 39, was arrested...

I think there are 1 or 2 false arrest suits that are still ongoing with some gun store owners she tried to railroad with non existent evidence. Rice is a hard charging, no nonsense DA who is taking Nassau over the cliff single handed.

If it is not a domestic, a DWI or a case that will garner some media attention she has no time for it. Kids are literally dying from heroin ODs all over middle class neighborhoods in this county. Arrests for heroin have been steadily increasing the past few years yet so has the overdoses. Why? Because her brilliant idea for dealing with the arrest of these junkies is diversion and counseling. Clueless...
