Today's Headline:DA: CRASH SUSPECT DRANK BEERBuried within the story :Didn't see traffic Pino told police he saw no oncoming traffic when he made the turn, but Spota said an eastbound driver saw the pickup truck before the limo started turning. "He said the limo was turning right in front of the truck," Spota said.I drank beer Sunday and I wasn't inox. Absent any breath or blood test numbers, shouldn't the headline be:WITNESS: THE LIMO TURNED RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TRUCKAlcohol wasn't the only contributing factor to this accident. Newsday fails basic Journalism again.R.I.P. to the girls who lost their lives. No matter what the facts, this was truly terrible.www.newsday.com/long-island/suffolk/steven-romeo-alleged-drunken-driver-in-crash-that-killed-4-likely-to-face-upgraded-charges-1.10658673

Using the words "Newsday" and "reporting" in the same sentence is contradictory. The two words are incompatible. The term "Agenda driven Fairy Tale" would be more appropriate. I'm curious as to why the blood test numbers haven't been released. Most ER's can come up with those numbers in a matter of minutes. That being said, of all the people involved, the driver of the pick-up would appear to bear the lowest percentage of responsibility regardless of his BAC. I am basing my opinion on the details released to this point. It may change as other facts are disclosed. My prayers go out to the families of all involved.
