Triple Shooting in Huntington Station
3 Men Shot, Officer, Woman Hurt in Huntington Station
Three young men were shot Sunday afternoon outside an apartment building in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said. Police also said an officer responding to that shooting call was involved in a crash that injured both the officer and an 82-year-old woman.
The three young men, Darius Howard, 16, Devon White, 18, and Philip Perez, 22, were sitting in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee in the parking lot of Lincoln Farm Apartments, 123 First Ave., at about 3:15 p.m. when between eight and 10 men surrounded the vehicle, police said.
The officer, whose identity was not released, was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The woman, whose identity also was not released, was admitted to Huntington.
