Souzzi did it with lawrence...he was quite surprised at how things were "different". How long before the PBA introduces him to PERB? Jan. 2, 2012.

Sad to say I think we are at the point where Mangano is just going violate the contract until a court order stops him.

Exactly, I remember him coming in and thinking he could do whatever he wanted like is done in the city. Minimum manning is not just for our safety it is also for the public's safety the PBA can not give this guy an inch.
I know the city has PERB but for some reason it doesn't work out that well for them. I remember when I transitioned from NYC being amazed at how PERB actually made the right decisions out here.

"Umm, I hate to enlighten you but the city has had perb for approximately a decade." Hey Rabbit, this I know, my point was that when Lawrence came in he was shocked at how well our union represented the membership...I know this because a friend of mine was a Sgt in the commish office at that time and he has great stories about Lawrence complaining how "we did it in the city" and "we would never allow this" and so on....and word is that the new guy is Schmidt's next door neighbor-so much for candidate interviews!!!!
