Dale, who served in the United States Marine Corps, joined the NYPD in 1970. He was named Deputy Chief in June 1999 and Assistant Chief in August 2002.
Among others, he has served in the Special Events Squad, Traffic Division, Organized Crime Control Bureau, Arson & Explosion Squad, Terrorist Task Force,
Central Investigation and Resource Division, Office of the Chief of Patrol, Patrol Borough Bronx, Patrol Borough Queens South, and the Midtown North, 60th, 83rd, 90th, 103rd, 107th and 114th Precincts

Everyone I spoke to from the city has praised the hell out of this guy. Ill give him a fair shot and hope for the best. Could be the other chief that was rumored to come.

Everyone I spoke to from the city has praised the hell out of this guy. Ill give him a fair shot and hope for the best. Could be the other chief that was rumored to come. I'll give anyone a shot as well, but I just see this as another way of Ed trying to stab us in the back; bring in somebody who is not our own to stick it to us. This has been tried before. |

With John M Beckmann and A. Holly Paterson we just did not now any better. It was what it was. We were just dumb cops doing what we were told, same days off 13 squads, two 72's and a 48 swing and no congregating at call boxes. How times have changed.

No doubt that Ed is doing it to twist the membership. I can tell you one thing, the new commish will definitely have a "culture shock" when he gets here. Besides carrying a gun to work there are no similarities between our jobs.

Any commish is just a puppet of the CE...makes no difference....but I hope he leaves the city kool aide at 1PP.

He's being brought in for a reason. The new PC has no loyalty to anyone here and will not resist any of Mangano's 'suggestions'. Two precincts will be closed.

Souzzi did it with lawrence...he was quite surprised at how things were "different". How long before the PBA introduces him to PERB?
