Georgia Man Arrested After Beheading Two Puppies
8/12/13 - Cobb County jail records show Robert Davis, of Mableton, was arrested Sunday on charges of aggravated animal cruelty and tampering with evidence.
Authorities say an Atlanta area man has been arrested after he was accused of beheading two puppies.
Cobb County jail records show Robert Davis, of Mableton, was arrested Sunday on charges of aggravated animal cruelty and tampering with evidence.
Tyler Tedesco told WSB-TV Monday that he left two puppies in Davis' care for a few days and was stunned when Davis said the dogs were dead.
He says Davis never indicated why he did it.
The television station reports police officers found the dogs' dead bodies in a wooded area.
Tedesco says he left the dogs with Davis and his girlfriend. Cobb County jail records say Davis doesn't have an attorney.

Nice video, dogs are more than we think.
As for the news story, that being from hell should be locked away forever. Unfortunately, he'll get a slap on the wrist and will be out among us again. Next time he may be killing humans.

AND ANOTHER SCUMBAG
Police Find 14 Puppies Dumped in Woods
PLATTSBURGH - Authorities say they're still trying to find 10 of the two dozen puppies abandoned in the woods by a man whose wife faces animal cruelty charges after dead kittens were found in her northern New York pet store. Police in Plattsburgh say 36-year-old Michael Staley has admitted taking 24 puppies from the Northern Puppies pet store last weekend and scattering them in the woods outside the city. Police say people reported finding some of the puppies Saturday night. Officials say 14 of the puppies have been found as of Tuesday morning. Officials say Staley told them he wanted to get rid of the dogs to avoid costly veterinarian bills. Last month, authorities closed Tammy Staley's pet store and charged her with animal cruelty after two kittens were found dead.
I hope she gets a pet loving judge and he throws her ass in the pokey

WOW! you must have your hands full with all those animals. I know my brother does, he has 6 dogs 3 cvcker Spanials, 1 Poodle, and 2 Yorkies.
I put my elderly dog to sleep 3 years ago when she couldn't walk anymore - heartbreaking, and then last year my wife and I started baby sitting my sons dog that he drops off in the mornings every day (before he leaves for work) - A young female pit bull mix that my other son now 3/4 from NYPD brought home from work for him. She's a very nice dog that was living in the 113 Pct. when the CO told them to get rid of the mutt.

NY Daily NewsPennsylvania Puppy Thrown From Car, Severely InjuredA yellow lab puppy tossed from a moving car suffered broken bones and bruises, but ‘Frankie’ expected to heal and needs new home, Pa. animal volunteers say 9/19/13 - A sweet-faced yellow lab puppy was pitched out of moving car in Fayette County, Pa., and busted up pretty bad. The little guy suffered several broken bones and bruised paws and shoulders. But animal care volunteers said said he is on the mend and needs a good home. “It’s sad and amazing at the same time,” said Fayette Friends of Animals volunteer Cathy Vrabel earlier this week after a woman brought in the pup after finding it in her front yard, according to WPXI-TV. “There are animals that aren’t wanted there’s plenty of loving homes they can be taken to,” Vrabel said. newsdayDeer Park Woman Faces Dog-Neglect ChargesA Deer Park woman was charged with severe animal neglect Wednesday after authorities found her two pit bulls emaciated and chained to a tree in her yard, Suffolk County police said. Sharon Martinez, 55, of 61 Lincoln Ave., was issued an appearance ticket after police responded to a 911 call about the two dogs, Nina and Papa, being neglected, police said. First Precinct Officer James Johnson and John Collins of the Suffolk County SPCA discovered the dogs chained to a tree in the snow-covered rear yard Sunday. The dogs were taken to Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island in West Islip, where they were examined and found to be "severely neglected," police said. Martinez denied neglecting the dogs, saying she provided food daily and veterinary care after rescuing them from their former owners six months ago. When she first got them from young men in the neighborhood, Nina could barely walk due to a leg injury, she said, and both were emaciated. Martinez, an unemployed writer, said she has rescued other dogs in the past and that the young men were leaving the area and didn't have a place for the pit bull mixes. "They were in worse condition and I nursed them back to health," she said. "If I didn't feed them twice a day, I give them a big meal once a day. I gave them hard food and wet food." The pair have been kept in her yard during the day and inside the house when she's home, Martinez said. Police said the two dogs have been placed in the Town of Babylon's animal shelter. Martinez said authorities informed her Wednesday that a veterinary check discovered parasites in the dogs: "They said the vet check said they had worms so they were losing weight. They must have just gotten worms. I did not do this to the animals, I swear to God."

Puppy Rescued From Trash at Long Island Gas Station
12/25/13 A PUPPY has been rescued from a commercial Dumpster on Long Island.
The small pooch was discovered in the trash at a gas station in West Islip about 1 a.m. on Tuesday, the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said. Officials believe the dog, a 1-year-old Lhasa apso, chewed its way out of a plastic bag.
The female pup was wearing a pink leash and a pink collar. The dog was transported to a 24-hour animal hospital.
The animal was severely matted and dirty but otherwise in good health, the SPCA said. A gas station surveillance video taken nearly 24 hours before the dog was found shows a person carrying a plastic bag that appears to contain a box and placing it in the Dumpster.

NY PostKim Jong Un ‘Fed Uncle To Pack of 120 Ravenous Dogs’The uncle of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was ripped to pieces by a pack of starving dogs in a slow, barbaric execution that Kim himself watched, a Chinese newspaper reported. Jang Song Thaek, the 67-year-old relative once considered Kim’s right-hand man, died horribly with five other condemned officials in a capital punishment called “quan jue”— execution by dogs, according to the Hong Kong newspaper Wen Wei Po, a mouthpiece for China’s government. Quan jue is reserved for the regime’s most hated enemies— and for those occasions when a simple firing squad doesn’t send a strong enough message to would-be political rivals, according to the newspaper. The animals, deliberately starved for days, spent more than an hour devouring their six victims, who were first stripped naked and then literally fed to the dogs as Kim and 300 government officials watched, Wen Wei Po reported. The grisly punishment is part of Kim’s bid to consolidate power in the secretive communist country, but the emergence of gruesome details of Jang’s execution in a Chinese newspaper is seen in some circles as proof that Beijing is increasingly troubled by the Pyongyang regime and wants to further embarrass and isolate Kim. Jang’s death was announced on Dec. 12. His earlier arrest on charges of treason, corruption and moral depravity had shocked international observers, who viewed Jang as the regime’s second most powerful figure. In a New Year’s address to North Koreans, Kim celebrated his uncle’s execution by calling him “scum” and “factionalist filth.” Hmm, maybe we should do this to the animal abusers?

Video .... Protective dachshund adopts paralyzed cat after pair were dumped on side of road Ruth, who is quadriplegic at seven months old — with her four legs wobbling like a yarn doll when she tries to move them — was found safe while at the side of her brave guard dog, Idgie, after both were discarded along a Central Florida road last October He's her steadfast guardian even when the times get tough, which for a quadriplegic cat named Ruth is every single day. That's the heart-warming companionship radiated by one cat and dog team who have remained best of friends, even after abandoned on the side of the road with one unable to walk. In early October Ruth, a black and white cat, and Idgie, a 2-year-old dachshund, were found in a box outside a Central Florida home. Ruth, who is quadriplegic at seven months old — with her four legs wobbling like a yarn doll when she tries to move them — was still safe while at the side of her brave guard dog, Idgie. The tiny dachshund would bark and growl whenever anyone approached, the Orlando Sentinel reported. When his companion was taken away from him, the dog appeared to look fearful and worried. "It was like she was constantly looking for her," Diane Gagliano, program coordinator for Seminole County Animal Services, told the Sentinel. The shelter said they tried everything they could to help Ruth. They tried steroid shots but saw no improvement. The nonprofit Together Every Animal Receives Support also chipped in by providing free experimental therapy for the cat, as well as acupuncture at about $150 a session. Nothing seemed to help. The unlikely couple was eventually taken in and adopted by Hollywood Houndz Boutique & Spa in Lake Mary, where they've since developed a kind of stardom fitting of the boutique's name after video of the pair's cuddling and incredible support went viral. Today guests are able to see them nuzzling in the front of the store to the public's delight. "Ruth is a very happy girl. She crawls to her food bowl and uses her litter box. She is very playful and loves playing with Idgie or whatever toy is available. She doesn't think there is anything wrong. We should all be this happy!!" Project Paw, which is raising money for Ruth's treatment, wrote on their Facebook wall last week. Then they offered hope. "Stay posted as we are going to have Ruth diagnosed as soon as we have the $ donations to cover the exam," they wrote on Tuesday. "The neurologist said that there is the possibility that her condition is treatable." Though vets have said they've tried almost everything, apparently there are some remaining just as dedicated as Idgie.
