I still remember the General Motors building and the "City of Tomorrow" and the Frank Buck's building " Bring em back Alive" There was a person in a Mr Peanut suit giving away Mr Peanut key chains I was 5 years old when my Aunt took me to the Fair in 1940 and these three things still remain in my memory. At one time Frank Buck's "Bring-em Back Alive" Animal Kingdom was on the south side of Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa, just before the train trestle. I have a picture of it. One time the guy left the monkey cage open and all the monkeys escaped.., Some went on the LIRR tracks and the train had to stop. hopefully some day I will post that picture on here
