Back in ye olde days it was signal 10,11,12,&13 and you used a hand held mike which usually fell on the floor from the crappy metal yoke that was designed to hold it on the lower dash next to the throttle for the siren and roof light ( bubble gum machine) Boy, am I old!!!!

Tim, that was my Motorola TV am/fm radio. This picture was probably taken after a midnight, that's the only times I would have had it in the car.

I figured it was the TV. I had a small one with a 1 in screen at first, what an annoying thing to watch, then went with a little bigger one, it would fit right between the bucket seats in the '86 Diplomat.

Back in 1960 I had a small transister radio I played on the 12x8. Kept it up on the top of the dash until a got a call , then, out of sight.

I bought a small transistor radio in 1969, a Panasonic, and it still works great.
