Bushwick Brentwood shooting Three men were shot, two fatally, as they sat in their cars on a street in Brentwood early Sunday morning, Suffolk police said. The shootings occurred on Lincoln Avenue near Stockton Street about 2:50 a.m., police said. When officers arrived after a 911 call about a shooting, they found two men in their 20s had been shot as they sat inside a 1998 Nissan Altima. Brentwood has become a war zone... |

Hmmm.....let me see.......might the words 'gang' and 'illegal alien' fit somewhere into future updates on this story?
Didn't they just set up Shot Spotter in Brentwood?

Huntington Station and Brentwood might as well be in Brooklyn. They are just ghettos with trees.
According to the news it was supposed to be set up by Thanksgiving. North Bellport, Wyandanch, North Amityville, and Huntington Station already use ShotSpotter.

My friend said the CO of the 5th told his cops at turnout that violent crime in the Pct is up 38% from last year. How this info gets twisted at HQ is beyond me.

The 2nd is getting hammered. Friday night had 11 and there were 6 during the day tour. They've got to be up at least 30-40%. It's crazy

Are you guys trying to tell me, with massive staff cuts among the police department and a County Executive who is trying to gut the PD and the PBA Contract, that crime is actually UP?!?
