Death of Retired PO Joe Corrigan

I worked with Joe Corrigan since I was a Cadet, back in 1966....Joe was a great cop and will be missed by many.........Joe always took time to help out........He worked the 32 room for many years and really ran a tight ship back there........Any desk officer that had Joe working behind him knew the value of such a dedicated mature cop keeping everything running on an even keel back in the 32 room.......
God bless you Joe........I'm gonna miss you............

CORRIGAN - Joseph M., of Commack, NY on December 18, 2011 at the age of 76. Retired Nassau County Police Officer. Beloved husband of the late Mary. Loving brother of the late Rosemary Vasko, Patricia Vissichelli, Margaret Tyrrell, the late Bernard Corrigan, Andrew Corrigan, the late Thomas Corrigan, the late James Corrigan, Edward Corrigan, Douglas Corrigan. Cherished uncle to 48 nieces and nephews, 21 grand nieces and nephews, five sister-in-laws. Visiting Tuesday 7 - 9 pm and Wednesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Brueggemann Funeral Home of East Northport, Inc., 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport, New York 11731. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:45 am at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church. Interment at Commack Cemetery.
