Hi all,
I have been silently viewing for some time now and thought I'd introduce myself. I am currently being processed for NCPD and hoping to make it through!
I have a quick question, I see the term "chart orange" being thrown around in relation to shift schedule. I have searched and haven't been able to find out any information. What is a typical shift schedule under chart orange?
Thanks!

2 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off. Twelve hour shifts. There are some ten hour shifts, 4 on 4 off. Glad to have you on the forum but please be careful what you post.

Probably the best part of this job is Chart Orange. Take your 2 set off, you have 9 days off. Take your 3 set off, you have 10 days off. Unless you were frozen for some time and had to do a ton of OT like myself..

Thank you both for the replies. Looking forward to be a member of this forum and potentially the NCPD.

Appreciate that Hornet, I am active on that forum as well, but didn't see any detail in regards to the shift schedule for Nassau. It has answered many other questions though, thanks for the reply!
