Coots made the same points I was thinking about as I read that warped commentary. Otherwise, there is so much to digest there.....I don't know where to begin.

A long time ago an old timer told me " Remember there are ass holes on both sides if the tin" Always kept that in the back of my mind.

You can tell by his analysis of the incident that his backround is questionable...especially the "minor robbery with a pellet gun" statement. I'm fairly certain he spent minimal time policing and much time in some sort of admin/office setting. Made no real points, has no apparent knowledge of the indemnification aspect and loses credibility by bring up the salary issue-this shows contempt. I could go on , but I'd be wasting my time...I may amuse myself by responding directly to his article.

WOW! This idiot was a Philly investigator and INSTRUCTOR!!? God help the people he taught. The article sounds like something written by an ultra left-wing radical newsrag journalist would come up with, not the words of a retired COP? If an armed robbery is minor than what in the world makes someting major? This guy is such a clown
