Red, you bring back memories of the back-up guns. Back in the day I carried while on duty...the Hi Standard 22 Magnum 2 shot Derringer and then later a 25 Bauer automatic...Didn't I buy that 25 Years ago guys were carrying 2 shot derringers or little .25 autos.
I still have my 38 Chief 2" in mint condition with pachmayr rubber grips.

Those .22 magnums were ear wax guns.....The blast would blow the wax out of your ears.  |

Nice gun, nice caliber, The question is how much does it weigh? How does it fit your hand? Only you can answer those questions. Think of your gun as a finely tailored suit. Does it fit me? That is why there are still dozens and dozens of gun manufacturers. Each of them has a slightly different idea of how a human hand should fit a gun.
