NY DAILY NEWS1981 Cop-Killer Abdul Majid's ‘Magic Bullet’ Theory is Shot Down in CourtCheck out the picture of this scumbagassets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.1012100.1327554010!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_635/image.jpg 1/26/12 - A Queens Judge has rebuffed a cop-killer’s attempt to appeal his life sentence by citing the “magic bullet” explanation of John F. Kennedy’s assassination. Abdul Majid, 62, tried to get years knocked off his sentence by claiming one of the bullets that injured Officer John Scarangella’s partner Richard Rainey during the April 1981 shooting struck Scarangella in the head. Under Majid’s reasoning, if one bullet struck both officers, then he should only have to serve one prison term. He’s serving consecutive sentences of 25 years to life for Scarangella’s murder and eight to 25 years for the attempted murder of Rainey. Queens Supreme Court Justice Robert Kohm dismissed the far-fetched appeal Tuesday. Majid was known as Anthony LaBorde before he converted to Islam. His accomplice, James Dixon York, died in prison three years ago. The officers were investigating a series of burglaries in St. Albans, Queens, when they pulled over a van driven by York. York and Majid walked over to the patrol car and opened fire, prosecutors say. Finally a Judge with a pair of NADS.....

I know it doesn't say it but you know damn well that some shyster Ambulance Chaser came up with that reasoning. To quote William Shakespeare, "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers"

I find it ironic that a lot of these killers, while in prison, convert to the religion of peace.
Good to hear that York has left NY for a hotter climate....
