Retired member staying in the PBA

This is a question for retirees. What are the benefits of staying in the PBA after retirement? For those that have been retired awhile and continued being a member, was it worth it? I’m asking because I was considering paying the full amount that would bring me to 40 years and receiving the 25% discount. Thanks

Worth it? I don' know. They did help me with a medical insurance problem in the past. I have enough years to be dues exempt.
