Hundreds of Cops Boot Zuccotti Mob - Arrests as ‘Anarchists’ Resist
11/15/11 - Good Riddance!
The NYPD arrested 200 protesters as they moved in on Zuccotti Park early this morning and cleared out the thousands of Occupy Wall Street protesters who had taken over the space for nearly two months.
Mayor Bloomberg, who called the decision to boot the protesters "mine and mine alone," said protesters would be allowed back into the Lower Manhattan park but not with their tents and sleeping bags.

Protesters Await Judge's Decision on Whether They Can Camp Out at Zuccotti
11/15/11 - With tensions simmering, Occupy Wall Street demonstrators surrounded the streets around the now-closed Zuccotti Park near Wall Street today as they waited for a Manhattan judge to decide whether they could go back inside.
Hours after the city forcibly evicted protestors, scrubbed down the park and closed it, Occupy Wall Street protests scattered across downtown Manhattan awaiting a judge's decision on whether they could return.
The city's plan to evict protesters after nearly two months early today resulted in the arrest of 200 protesters.
The protest began Sept. 17 and many had been camped out at the park since then.
Soon after the nightime sweep, Occupy protesters went to a Manhattan judge, getting her to issue a temporary restraining order allowing them back inside. The city responded by closing the park.
