Check your email. Court of Appeals vacated Wexlers decision and sent it to state court. Now we start all over.
I hope that none of you voted no to the deal.

A know a few guys who voted no, hoping to ride out the lawsuit. I wonder how they feel about that now? I bet a lot of them are chasing the mail man down the street wanting that ballot back.

Its time to start talking to labor lawyers again and see if we can get our own lawsuit. Especially the guys stuck in the steps. This is bullshvt. Anyone voting no to this deal is a moron.

Totally agree. I hope most voted "yes" for the deal. Actually Carver deserves some credit here to be fair.... All in all it actually was a fair deal though in my opinion. Of course in a perfect world we shouldnt give back shvt. Now lets just hope the deal goes through...

Amazing how it took this long just to send it to State. Lets see how long it'll be for State to shoot it down

Watch, now the county will pull the deal off the table. They have no reason to continue to pursue the deal as they now have another free 2 years of freezes while the state court looks at this case. Hang on for another dip in the roller coaster.

Hang on for another dip in the roller coaster. I don't see how they follow through except for the fact they need to hire, and hiring has been extremely difficult at 34K. They'll lose eventually, but i would expect them to pull out and demand more.

Don't think they will pull out...What will probably happen is Ed still wants to look like the hero before the election. NIFA will feel empowered by this, so they will kick it back as "too generous to the cops", so now Ed "has" ask us for more..."it's not me fellas, it's those guys!!" Does not want us going negative so close to the election so he will try and make it look like he's with us. Lots of behind the scenes action here...the timing of everything the last 10 days is no coincidence.

My yes vote is as low as I go. There will be nothing else to negotiate.

Does Ed Really think that this deal was going to make us vote for him? I don't know about you guys, but no matter how good this deal was, I am not going to forget these last 3-4 years. Wonder how many in the academy will resign if this deal falls through?

No Republican will get my vote ever again! They are proven anti UNION across the board. If you vote GOP you're just not paying attention....

Mangano can't come back to us asking for more, until the leg or NIFA vote it down. He signed the MOA already. Hopefully the 3 NIFA spots filled this week and the one filled last year will help this deal pass. State can still judge in our favor, however that could take 1-2 years. Hope everyone votes yes, now!!
