I guess it all depends on whether we get put where we are suppose to be this january or just goto where the top pay guys now are stuck at 108k. As much as i need top pay, I can't see us giving up one of our only bargaining chips just to get guys through steps. I would be very content that if in January we get put the 125k where we should be and take zeros until the lawsuit plays out.

I've heard the top pay would increase by 4%, basically throwing top pay guys a smalll bone. Steps would be unfrozen, and you go to where you're supposed to be. No further concessions. Lawsuits continue for retro and the other 4% raises. Unborn get sold out .
All rumor obviously.

I wonder if We aren't giving up any concessions other than selling out the newborn, Does it still have to go out for a vote? Seeing as we aren't really giving anything up.

So the deal stands for the unborn? 8 1/2 years to top pay?
And we're frozen at $108 for, how long? Through 2015 or 2017?

You guys are really talking about this rumor as if it's true. Your getting all worked up for nothing. Fact: There has been a holiday rumor every year so far. Not just Xmas but EVERY holiday. lol

After we lose the bargaining chip of new hires why would the county even talk to us about raises. They can then hire like a drunken sailor on payday and demand contractual givebacks for future raises.

Class January 2nd, steps unfrozen, percentage raises frozen, health care to 2020, selling out unborn, no other givebacks. Good Try 1090. No class would start on a Thursday. This job is hopeless That's funny I seem to recall being sworn in on a Wednesday.
