Sorry but I was at the meeting where that snake Carver lied to 80 of us. But taking shots at his son is uncalled for

I heard that he failed, figured there'd be a closed door second try. What about Skrynecki's kid? Heard he was in this batch.

This deal is never getting past Nifa anyway so all our bickering with one and other the past few days will all have been for nothing. The lawsuit will ride!

4.9% a year? Are they Frozen also? www.newsday.com/long-island/nassau/some-ncc-classes-canceled-as-strike-continues-1.6045881Some NCC classes canceled as strike continues September 10, 2013 by CANDICE FERRETTE / candice.ferrette@newsday.com More than two dozen Nassau Community College adjunct faculty and their supporters marched on the campus plaza Tuesday in a strike that already has led to cancellations of some classes. "Every day our numbers will grow," said Charles Loiacono, president of the Adjunct Faculty Association. The union, representing more than 3,000 part-time instructors and professors at the Garden City campus, are in the second day of picketing after college trustees did not approve their latest contract proposal at a special meeting on Monday. Six of 10 members on the community college's board attended the meeting, voting 3-3 on the proposed pact. After announcement of the vote, the adjunct union commenced its walk-out Monday afternoon. Some students Tuesday morning said they had gotten emails from professors canceling class. Chris Mahn, a sophomore working toward an associate degree in hospitality business, said his 10 a.m. class titled "Social and Cultural Aspects of Food" was canceled. "I feel bad for the adjuncts but I feel worse for us," said Mahn, 22, of Hicksville, as he watched the picket line. "They aren't thinking about us. They are thinking about themselves." The Adjunct Faculty Association is asking for an eight-year contract that they say would raise their pay by 4.9 percent yearly. They have been working without a contract since 2010. About 55 percent of the courses at NCC are taught by adjuncts. About one-third of the AFA bargaining unit is comprised of full-time faculty who teach extra courses. Mahn and other students said the uncertainty about the strike will take a toll. Many were concerned about scheduling conflicts with the jobs they have in addition to attending college. "No one in my family has a college degree and I'm very focused," Mahn said. "My education is an integral part of my life right now."

Hey young man, you are just tasting the tip of what Liberalism IS all about, ALL they care about are themselves they can give a rats ass about you. Of course, they say "it's all for the children" until they don't get what they want then it's fu(kem.
